| This is a list of repairs needed on this sweetheart of planes. It's a rotten thing when a plane comes down hard for whatever reason, but it's great to be able to repair it and fly it again! | ||

Due to a low
speed stall while flying a crosswind leg to land, I buried the nose into
ground - I was paying attention to passer-by that was beginning to walk into
my approach path and didn't execute a full power go around - I wasn't
thinking I guess. The repairs needed were the reattachment of the nose
forward of the landing gear, replacement of the main windshield, filling in
and crack repair on the fiberglass cowl, recovering of the areas that were
damaged (including some scuffing on the wing tips), straightening the
landing gear, and, of course, replacement of the prop. I didn't think
to take a picture of the plane when first damaged, but I'll put some pics
here of the
repair process
