Eflite EFL4000 25 Scale J3 Cub

Completed 12/22/2006

This build was a real joy.  Everything went together as expected and without incident.  The wings, fuse, stab and fin were already covered with only the need of the heat gun for a few seconds to smooth out a few spots.  The manual was well written and concise.

I just wish that I would have done more to log this build, but the Cessna Build will be documented more thoroughly.

I Decided to use a wooden prop for effect.  Using the E-flite Power 25 Outrunner motor powered by the thunder power 3 cell LIPO battery, it will have no problems compensating for the slightly heavier prop.
The radio equipment is the Futaba 6EXAP system running a 6 channel fully programmable transmitter and 6 channel dual mode receiver that can be programmed to run other models with different presets for each one. It can also be programmed to run the ailerons as "flaperons". By plugging the left aileron into channel one and the right into channel six, a knob assigned to channel six uses the ailerons as flaps while still allowing aileron control.  The 4 stock servos were traded in for higher torque servos. this RC should have a lot to offer
