The SkyFly by FlyZone -Easy to handle and durable - One of my favorites and a great camera platform
Wingspan: 40 in (1015mm)   Length: 32.25 in (820mm)   Weight: 17.3 oz (490g)

The SkyFly is a push prop electric power plane that is easy to control with two modes of flight - Expert and Beginner.

The  Intelliflight control that comes with it helps to stabilize flight while learning to fly

I unfortunately dropped this plane in the water while recording video over a lake and fried the original receiver.  I replaced with a spare receiver from a Park Zone Slo - V and use the Parkzone transmitter as well.  The upside is that it increased the range to 2500 ft.  - I can't imagine this plane at that range, but who knows!

The SkyFly utilizes a sturdy tricycle style landing gear making landing easy and safe to land the SkyFly.

Separate rudder and elevator controls on the SkyFly’s tail make it look — and perform — just like control surfaces on full-sized planes.

Here are some shots of mine waiting for take-off

Video Clips of the SkyFly

This was my first attempt at an on-plane video - I used a remote color VGA spy camera and
connected the receiver to my laptop using a Pinnacle Systems Dazzle DVC100 interface

This video was made on December 22, 2006 at Oakwood Metropark by the pond - It was getting late and I just wanted a little stick time!
